1. Confirm which side of Saint-Martin the trip uses

The public ferry route commonly connects Marigot on the French side of Saint-Martin with Blowing Point in Anguilla. The airport, hotel, ferry terminal, and border formalities are separate parts of the journey and should not be grouped into one vague “airport transfer.”

2. Marigot and Blowing Point are the fixed points

The Port of Saint-Martin states that the Marigot terminal serves Anguilla and that the crossing is approximately twenty minutes under normal operation. Anguilla Ports identifies Blowing Point as the island’s principal ferry hub for nearby islands. Weather and operational changes can suspend or alter service.

3. Treat it as an international border crossing

• Carry the passport and any required entry documentation.
• Verify ticket purchase rules and accepted payment methods.
• Budget for current passenger and departure fees.
• Allow time for immigration and baggage handling.
• Reconfirm requirements for the return crossing.

4. Protect the airport-to-Marigot segment

A flight into Princess Juliana International Airport does not place the traveler at Marigot. Add road-transfer time, immigration, checked baggage, traffic, terminal check-in, and the risk of missing the final practical ferry. A late arrival may require a Saint-Martin overnight or a separately arranged private boat.

5. Do not combine a fragile ferry with the final flight

Return to Saint-Martin with enough margin for weather, immigration, road transport, and airline check-in. A short scheduled crossing is not the same as a protected airline connection.
