What we publish
We publish destination guides, island-hopping routes, itineraries, activity comparisons, connectivity guides, and disruption help. Each page is designed to answer a planning decision rather than merely describe a destination.
How guides are developed
Guides are assembled from provider information, official transport and destination sources where available, and clearly labeled editorial analysis. Prices and schedules are presented as ranges or examples because they change frequently.
We do not describe a guide as firsthand-tested unless the page identifies who tested it, when, where, and how. Pages that rely on desk research are described honestly as researched planning guides.
How the business is funded
Some booking links are affiliate links. A commission may be earned when a reader books after using one of those links, at no extra cost to the reader. Commercial relationships do not determine the conclusion of a comparison.
Corrections and updates
Readers and travel partners can report outdated details at hello@islandtravelatlas.com. Material corrections should be reviewed promptly and the page review date updated when verification is complete.
